ManpowerGroup's client in Houston is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to oversee day-to-day shop material flow and maintain accurate on-hand status. The role sits in the Inventory Control / Materials team and emphasizes detail, proactive problem solving, and clear communication to keep production moving.

The position requires coordinating with receiving, shipping, and WIP transactions, generating reports, and supporting LEAN and kanban improvements.

Qualifications

• Ability to identify material shortages and drive resolution through data review and follow-through.
• Comfort working with transactional systems and supporting integrity of inventory records.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain documents per record retention expectations and support shipping/receiving needs.
• Willingness to process material and due date changes to released work orders as needed.
• Interest in continuous improvement, including supporting LEAN initiatives and kanban process improvements.

Responsibilities

Our client, an industrial manufacturing and operations organization, is seeking a Inventory Control Coordinator to join their team. As a Inventory Control Coordinator, you will be part of the Inventory Control / Materials team supporting day-to-day shop material flow. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Inventory Control Coordinator

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range: $23.55-$24.57 depending on experience

Shift: 5:00 am to 3:00 pm- OT & Weekends are required.
