Job summary

Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery in Clifton, NJ seeks an Inventory Control Coordinator for the overnight shift (11 PM – 7:30 AM). You will verify inventory accuracy, monitor quantities and lot numbers, and ensure materials are properly labeled and ready for production.

This role requires RF scanning and WMS experience, FIFO/FEFO knowledge, and strong organizational and bilingual English/Spanish communication. You will perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain precise inventory records.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Coordinator to support our warehouse and manufacturing operations on the overnight shift (11 PM - 7:30 AM). This role is responsible for verifying inventory accuracy, monitoring product quantities and lot numbers, conducting inventory counts, and ensuring materials are properly labeled and ready for production.

Requirements

• Ensure materials are properly labeled, tagged, organized, and stored.
• Coordinate the distribution of inventory and labels to manufacturing.
• Inspect returned materials and document damaged or defective items.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory procedures and all applicable safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with RF scanning systems and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO inventory practices and inventory control procedures.
• Ability to use pick lists, system-generated reports, and basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and mathematical skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Previous experience operating warehouse equipment is a plus.

Work Environment

This position works in a manufacturing warehouse environment and requires standing and walking throughout the shift, with occasional lifting of materials up to 50 pounds.
