Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery in Carteret, NJ is seeking a Full-time Warehouse Associate to verify inventory, perform cycle counts, label and store materials, and coordinate distribution to manufacturing lines.

The role requires RF scanning, WMS proficiency, FIFO/FEFO procedures, and strong organizational skills. Schedule includes Tue-Fri 10:00 AM-6:30 PM and Sat 8:00 AM-4:30 PM with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Verify inventory items, lot numbers, and quantities against system records.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Label, tag, organize, and store materials properly.
• Coordinate distribution of inventory and labels to manufacturing.
• Inspect returned materials and document damaged or defective items.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain inventory records using warehouse management systems.

• Ensure materials are properly labeled, tagged, organized, and stored.
• Coordinate the distribution of inventory and labels to manufacturing.
• Inspect returned materials and document damaged or defective items.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory procedures and applicable safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with RF scanning systems and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO inventory practices and inventory control procedures.
• Ability to use pick lists, system-generated reports, and basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and mathematical skills.
• Previous experience operating warehouse equipment is a plus.

Work Environment

This position operates in a manufacturing warehouse environment and requires standing and walking throughout the shift, with occasional lifting of materials up to 50 pounds.
