Job summary

Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery is seeking dependable Warehouse Associates to support fast-paced warehouse operations. You will ensure products are received, stored, and shipped accurately while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and food handling.

Requirements include forklift/reach truck operation, RF scanning, labeling, and adherence to FIFO/FEFO practices. Join a team focused on accuracy, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a food production environment.

Qualifications

• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.
• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately and on time.
• Receive, inspect, and store inventory following FIFO/FEFO procedures.
• Move products between the warehouse and production departments.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and complete warehouse transactions.
• Ensure products are properly labeled with barcodes, pallet tags, and allergen stickers.
• Maintain accurate inventory and report damaged products or discrepancies.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
• Follow all company safety, PPE, OSHA, and food safety policies.
• Work closely with production, inventory, and logistics teams to meet daily goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience (food manufacturing preferred) or 2+ years of forklift/reach truck experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience using RF scanning systems.
• Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
