Job summary

Lakeshore is seeking a DC Clerk, 1st shift, to maintain inventory accuracy in the distribution center. You will verify inventory against computerized records, support in maintaining inventory records, and ensure balance across the system.

A day on the job includes auditing movements, scheduling counts, assigning workloads, and researching all areas of the warehouse to prevent discrepancies and improve overall accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of prior inventory experience.
• Basic computer skills (e.g. personal computers, printers, email).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of warehouse operating procedures and protocol.
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
• Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and able to research many different areas of the system.

Responsibilities

• Checks warehouse inventory against computerized records and ensures all inventory is accounted for in WMS.
• Reviewing and auditing inventory activities, including movements and adjustments that occur throughout the building.
• Scheduling Inventory counts to clear up any discrepancies.
• Assign workloads to counters.
• Researching staging locations to ensure accuracy.
• Reconciling inventory discrepancies by detailed research into the different functions used throughout the warehouse.
• Researching previous adjustments and make new adjustments as needed.
