Job summary

Airborne Maintenance and Engineering Services is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to maintain accurate on-hand inventory, conduct cycle counts, and manage physical inventories of purchased and customer-provided materials at the Tampa location. The role supports managers by identifying discrepancies, solving problems, and ensuring proper labeling and documentation in the WINGS system.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, the ability to qualify

Responsibilities

• The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for verifying, counting, and recording of the physical lot counts. The ICC shall be the “first line of defense” in trouble shooting variances.
• Retrieve NIS paperwork from the assigned turn in locations.
• Research as to why the parts were not in stock.
• Make the necessary adjustments within the WINGS system.
• Routine Inventory Control procedures.
• Conduct regularly scheduled cycle counts.
• Providing a Shelf-life report for expired items.

Major Responsibility Areas and Duties:

• The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for verifying, counting, and recording of the physical lot counts. The ICC shall be the “first line of defense” in trouble shooting variances.

Additional Duties:

• Verify part unit of measure (UOM).


• Count and record blind count.


• Seal and re-label all parts that are staged in location.


• Record any additional comments on cycle count discrepancies and forward to your Supervisor/Manager for resolution.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:

• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk for extended periods.


• Must be able to climb and work from ladders, work stands, and other heights.


• Must be able to work with one or both hands extended overhead.


• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
