Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for an Inventory Control Clerk in Redlands, CA. The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy across inbound and outbound orders and ensuring system records reflect physical counts.

The position includes cycle counts, adjustments, and routine clerical tasks. The ideal candidate has at least a high school diploma and some warehousing experience; forklift certification or training within 30 days is preferred.

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of forklift-training within 30 days (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust the system as necessary.
• Adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Perform routine clerical tasks including filing invoices and maintaining records.
• Cycle counting, countbacks, correcting inventory, recouping damaged items, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Job description

Role Purpose :

Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.

Key Accountabilities :

• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
• Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
• Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
• Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.

Required Education and Experience :

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred

Shift:3:00 pm –; 11:30pm, Monday-Friday
Pay: $22.50 per hour
