Job summary

Glazers Beer & Beverage is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to perform cycle counts, analyze operations with leadership, and maintain inventory integrity. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and collaboration across departments, with onsite presence required.

The position requires a high school diploma, experience with computerized inventory systems, and forklift certification is preferred. Strong organization and basic math are useful assets for success.

Responsibilities

• Participation in inventory counts as directed.
• Performing quality checks on stored inventory and discarding inventory that does not meet the company standards.
• Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
• Load dunnage, maintain inventory.
• Maintains inventory records to share with management and other stakeholders in the business.
• Provides inventory reports on discrepancies to inventory control Supervisor.
• Implements loss prevention programs.
• Resolve discrepancies including quantity errors, high/low issues, mis-shipments.
• Understand and adhere to the safety rules and requirements in the workplace.
• Operates forklift when necessary.
• Performs other related duties as requested.

We are looking for an Inventory Control Clerk to join our Team. In this role you will be responsible for performing and keying cycle counts, working with leadership to analyze operations cycle counts, and maintaining inventory integrity.

Our Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with computerized inventory systems required.
• Forklift operator certification preferred.

Our Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, and internal departments.
• Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Proficient keyboarding skills.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to forty pounds at a time.
• Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.
