Job summary

Marvin, located in Kansas City, MO, is hiring an Inventory Control Auditor to manage and audit inventory across the site, perform cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency with inventory systems to support production operations.

You will use Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Office, collaborate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams, and operate powered equipment at heights. Schedule: Mon-Thu 6:00am-4:00pm.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing or warehouse.
• Proficiency with Enterprise Asset Management software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment and obtain certifications.
• Comfortable with heights and lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Effective cross-department communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of materials for production.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
• Safely use a Motorized Industrial Man Up Picker to count parts at top warehouse levels.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to manage inventory movements.
• Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Promote a culture of safety and integrity by reporting hazards and participating in training initiatives.
