Job description

We are seeking Inventory Control Associate II to join IQVIA Laboratories business at Marietta, GA.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

You will support all phases of inventory, coordinating the efficient and controlled flow of materials to and from delivering carriers, laboratory storage, and short-term working stock. You will maintain inventory records to ensure accurate records of stock on hand and adequate stock levels in accordance with established guidelines.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Collect all deliveries from loading bay, log, QC, receipt in, store and distribute as required
  2. Maintain stock on shelves in a tidy manner, executing stock rotation in appropriate date order
  3. Record all stock movements and stock issues using Inventory control system
  4. Ensure accurate data entry and analyze reports to drive process improvements
  5. Operate all Inventory Control systems and other appropriate systems to facilitate stock processing duties
  6. Maintain close links with study PMs and Set Up managers to ensure stock items used in studies adhere to short-dated procedures and advise on any material shortages
  7. Liaise with internal customers, suppliers, and the Purchasing and Finance departments on all stock-related issues
  8. Conduct daily/weekly reporting and provide inventory dispositions

What we are looking for:

  • 1-2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
  • Ability to drive fork trucks and secure applicable certification.
  • Other equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

The knowledge, skills and abilities needed for this role:

  • Good PC skills including Excel and Word.
  • Effective leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and clients.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on work area and tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

The potential annualized base pay range for this role is $37,700.00 - $62,800.00. Actual offers may vary based on qualifications, location, schedule, and other factors. Incentives, bonuses, and other compensation may be included, along with health and welfare benefits.
