Key responsibilities

  • Implement the global People Strategy at the local level, aligned with regional and business goals
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for leaders and their teams on all people-related matters
  • Lead the delivery of the annual HR cycle, including performance management, compensation reviews, succession planning, and talent development
  • Provide guidance and resolution on employee relations issues, ensuring alignment with company policies and local regulations
  • Monitor and apply changes in local labor laws to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Act as a talent broker to facilitate internal mobility and development opportunities across teams and regions
  • Collaborate closely with the regional people team to manage daily HR operations and resolve complex HR cases
  • Analyze real-time HR data to generate insights, identify improvement opportunities, and drive data-informed decisions
  • Design and deliver training sessions and workshops for local leaders and employees on various HR topics
  • Other tasks assigned by manager

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years of experience as an HR generalist and solid understanding of HR fundamentals, including recruitment, people performance management, employee engagement, compensation, development, employee relations
  • Passionate about the business and partnering with and supporting leaders to deliver on business results
  • Advanced knowledge of labor law; experience from working in unionized environments would be beneficial
  • Experience from large international organizations and strong ability to build relationships and navigate a complex stakeholder matrix
  • Good change management, facilitation, and coaching skills
  • Be able to take ownership and act autonomously, while also adopting a collaborativeworking style, fostering cooperation and teamwork to find solutions
  • Flexibility and adaptability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Resilience: the change process, is anything but straightforward; accepting uncertainty and bouncing back from setbacks while keeping your enthusiasm is a tall order, but we need it
  • Be self-driven, energetic, and have a ‘can-do’ mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English.
