Staffmark Group in partnership with Stord seeks an Inventory Control Associate in Atlanta, GA.

You will investigate discrepancies, perform counts, maintain records, and operate warehouse equipment. The role requires strong organization, familiarity with inventory systems, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with team members at all levels.

Temp-to-Hire with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits; high school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate inventory and bin location discrepancies.
• Research problem orders, receipts, and variances.
• Perform inventory audits and product counts.
• Enter and maintain inventory data in the warehouse system.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory and bin locations throughout the facility.
• Follow QA procedures and standards.
• Stage materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain accurate work documents and system records.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned.

This role is responsible for investigating inventory discrepancies, maintaining accurate inventory records, performing product counts, and ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience with inventory management systems, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with team members across all levels of the operation.

Job Duties

• Investigate inventory and bin location discrepancies
• Research problem orders, receipts, and inventory variances
• Perform inventory audits and product counts
• Enter and maintain inventory data within the warehouse management system
• Ensure inventory and bin accuracy throughout the facility
• Follow quality assurance procedures and standards
• Stage materials in designated warehouse locations
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• Maintain accurate work documents and system records
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

Experience Requirements

• Experience inspecting manufactured products using established quality standards and specifications.
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, or inspection documents.
• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring devices.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and document inspection results accurately.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous quality inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred.
• Technical training in manufacturing, quality assurance, or inspection procedures is beneficial.
• Experience performing first article, in-process, or final product inspections is beneficial.
• Knowledge of ISO standards, statistical process control, quality documentation, or corrective action procedures is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate accuracy, professionalism, and a commitment to producing high-quality work are well positioned for success as a Inventory Control Associate.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracy.
• Ability to maintain visual focus and attention to detail while inspecting products in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
