Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking an Inventory Control Assistant to maintain and reconcile warehouse inventory on a daily basis. The role focuses on accurate counts, reporting variances, and ensuring SAP alignment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year in a warehouse or inventory setting, with strong SAP/Excel/Word skills and attention to detail. Work hours are Mon-Fri, with early morning shifts.

Job Summary

The Inventory Control Assistant is responsible for warehouse inventory maintenance and reconciliation daily.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform daily inventory count. Research and reconcile daily inventory variances
• Reconcile the daily, monthly, and annual inventory to the SAP computer system.
• Identifies and reports close-dated product and any product that is mislabeled with incorrect BBE date as needed.
• Coordinates inbound and outbound dunnage loads daily and weekly.
• Reconciles open purchase orders daily and weekly. Assists in invoice management. Approves all STO/PO corrections. Submits Bottler Resolution Forms (BRF).
• Complies with all internal control requirements and documentation storage.
• Adheres to product quality guidelines including product returns.
• Responsible for warehouse traceability and quality hold processes and routines.
• Collaborates with TMS on scheduling all carriers and any claims tipped loads/frozen product.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• A minimum of one year of work experience is required.
• Prior experience in warehouse or inventory required.
• Strong computer and database skills, including SAP, Excel, and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay:

$19.00 an hour
