Envision, Inc. in Farmers Branch, TX seeks an Inventory Control/Receiving Admin to verify vendor and WO receipts, maintain accurate records, and support inventory control across the warehouse.

Responsibilities include picking components for production, staging for delivery, cycle counting, and documenting discrepancies while maintaining ERP data integrity. Forklift operation and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in inventory control and receiving strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick components for production work orders using pick lists or expedite forms.
• Stage all components for delivery to production warehouse.
• Confirm items and quantities against WO picks/expedites.
• Perform cycle counts and adjust ERP records as needed.
• Move materials between staging and storage areas using appropriate equipment.
• Report inventory discrepancies to Warehouse leader and escalate when needed.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• An Inventory Control/Receiving Admin is responsible for tasks in connection.
• With the receiving of components from vendors and manufacturing, verifying/maintaining receipt records and inventory control functions of the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

• Use a pick list or expedite form to pick/pull components for production work orders.
• Stage all components for delivery to production warehouse.
• Confirm items and quantities from WO picks/expedites.
• Cycle Count items and bin locations - proactive and reactive counts.
• Systematically make moves or adjustments according to manual count.
• Report any large inventory discrepancies to Warehouse leader and wait for further direction.
• Put away raw materials from production work orders or PO’s, processed components and finished goods and systematically move into ERP.
• Operate stand up, pallet jack or cherry picker to move material from staging area to storage area (bin).
• Check incoming merchandise for quantity, description, and damage; report discrepancies to Warehouse leader, ensuring management is immediately notified of any discrepancies impacting production schedule.
• Ensure appropriate paperwork/labels accompanies all merchandise and is completed accurately.
• Complete receiving in the ERP system and process reports, attach them to the P.O., copy file.
• Assist or lead year-end physical inventory count teams.
• Maintain file of receipts per vendor.
• Maintain accurate, manual inventory records.
• Organize, maintain and clean the warehouse area; report maintenance and repairs of forklifts and other warehouse equipment to Warehouse leader.
• Effectively communicate to all persons involved with purchase orders, work orders or sales orders of any issues with inventory that will affect the schedule or plan to ship.
• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Operate box truck as needed.
• Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.
• Work under general supervision.

Qualifications:

JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 2-3 years’ experience in inventory control and receiving strongly preferred.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Pallet Jack, Stand-up cherry picker experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals and skill levels.
• Math and computer skills necessary to create and/or update documents and spreadsheets.
• Possess a positive work attitude and a willingness to carry out instructions.
• Ability to express and share knowledge and ideas in a team environment.
• Ability to multi-task.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current valid driver’s license required.
• Must maintain a current forklift certification.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Total Number of Employees Directly Supervising: 0.
• Number of Subordinate Supervisors Reporting to Position: 0.

VISION REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

Can be performed with or without assistive technology:

• Required to perform activities such as: preparing/analyzing data/figures; viewing a computer screen; reading; inspecting small objects for defects; using measuring devices; and/or assembling parts with close eye contact.
• Required to perform activities such as operating machinery and/or power tools at or within arm’s reach; performing non-repetitive tasks such as carpentry work or repairing machinery.
• Required to review/inspect own assigned work, the work of others, or facilities or structures.

Requires normal (or corrected to normal) vision/acuity:

• Required to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment such as forklifts.
