Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking an inventory specialist to proactively identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring system accuracy across locations via the Warehouse Management System.

Daily monitoring, exception reporting, and cross-department collaboration will be key components of the role. The ideal candidate has an Associate degree and 2–5 years of related experience, with strong Excel skills and the ability to perform root cause analyses and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical school completion.
• 2–5 years of related experience or training.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Intermediate to expert Excel skills.
• Ability to read and interpret client requirements, work instructions and procedures.
• Ability to apply common sense to detailed instructions.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 software and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitors inventory daily and generates exception reports for discrepancies.
• Investigates inventory sync issues and system-to-system variances.
• Escalates and resolves issues with cross-department resources.
• Performs monthly and cyclical inventory reconciliations.
• Conducts root cause analysis of variances and implements corrective actions.
• Develops inventory KPI reporting and trend analyses as needed.
• Supports customer audits and internal compliance reviews.
• Develops standardized inventory control processes across sites.
• Performs manual research to identify discrepancies and creates corrective actions.
