Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in San Jose, CA is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to ensure accurate inventory, availability, and reliable reporting within a fast-paced electronics prototyping and manufacturing environment.

The role partners with customer, planning, procurement, production, and logistics teams to drive data-driven decisions, minimize excess stock, and support NPI/EOL readiness across multiple sites and distribution centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and reconcile inventory levels across multiple global sites to meet production demands while minimizing carrying costs.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance inventory accuracy, streamline cycle count processes, and improve warehouse efficiency.
• Proactively identify and address inventory discrepancies, slow-moving items, and potential shortages.
• Manage excess, obsolete, and end-of-life material disposition in alignment with corporate policies.
• Generate and present detailed inventory performance reports, including KPIs such as Inventory Turns, Days on Hand, and Accuracy Rates.
• Use root cause analysis to investigate and resolve systemic inventory issues.
• Maintain dashboards and reports for executive and operational stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to enhance ERP/MRP functionality and reporting capabilities.
• Standardize best practices for inventory control across different facilities.
• Partner with demand planning, procurement, engineering, and production teams to align inventory strategies with product lifecycle and manufacturing schedules.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) inventory readiness and End-of-Life (EOL) material management.
• Work closely with customer and program management to ensure on-time delivery.
• Compile and present daily and weekly inventory metrics and reports.
