Qualifications

• Education options include four-year degree with two years inventory analysis experience or associate degree with four years related experience or HS with six years computerized inventory experience.
• Must have one additional year of experience in a Gregory Poole Inventory Control Analyst I role or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory levels and customer service objectives via daily analysis of reports.
• Orders and transfers products daily through ERP to meet stock needs.
• Assesses bulk purchase discounts and advises on purchases.
• Prepares weekly slow moving/non-stock reports for CAT and surplus reviews.
• Orders emergency parts to meet customer requirements.
• Adjusts system inventory levels based on demand changes.
• Reviews future order opportunities with branch parts managers monthly.
• Maintains daily contact with branches to resolve inventory and shipping discrepancies.
• Follows up to ensure stock is received and claims filed for damaged inventory.
• Attends branch meetings to address inventory questions and advise on issues.
• Adds new part numbers and updates pricing in ERP as needed.
