Viaflex seeks an experienced Inventory Control Analyst to manage day-to-day inventory operations, ensure accuracy of stock levels, and support timely order processing in a fast-paced production environment.

You will use data analytics to forecast demand, drive strategic planning, identify waste, and implement process improvements while maintaining confidentiality and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Inventory Control Analyst

SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Control Analyst to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing day-to-day inventory operations while focusing on data analysis and strategic planning to optimize inventory processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory control systems and a proven ability to improve current practices, ensuring inventory accuracy and efficiency.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Day-to-Day Inventory Operations: Oversee daily inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking of stock levels, timely order processing, and smooth flow of goods.
• Data Analysis and Strategic Planning: Utilize data analytics to monitor inventory trends, forecast demand, and inform strategic planning to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in current inventory management practices and develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline processes.
• Reporting and Documentation: Generate reports on inventory levels, trends, and performance metrics, providing insights to management for decision-making purposes.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

1. Pursuing high school diploma or GED
2. High school diploma or GED
3. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
4. 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with a proven track record of leadership and team management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, without close supervision. Problem-solving abilities. Ability to identify waste and creatively look for solutions. Ability to work with high level of confidentiality. Capacity to be flexible and multitask. Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
