Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to manage inventory processes with independence, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely shipping/receiving operations. This role also assists in process improvements and troubleshooting discrepancies. The on-site position in New Hudson, Michigan, runs for 12 months with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8a–5p.

Pay range is $24.00/hr–$25.92/hr. Requires 2–5 years of inventory/warehouse experience and ERP familiarity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of inventory or warehouse experience.
• Experience with inventory/ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels; initiate replenishment as needed.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and investigate variances.
• Oversee receiving processes, including documentation and system updates.
• Coordinate and execute shipping schedules, including carrier selection.
• Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and compliance with shipping regulations.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends and inefficiencies.
• Resolve discrepancies related to shipments, returns, and stock levels.
• Train and support entry-level staff (Level I).
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards.
