Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Executes and coaches team members on warehouse and vendor inventory management processes including but not limited to creating, reviewing, and receiving orders.
• Scans in all deliveries while the vendor is still in the store, including common carrier deliveries. Focuses on One Box receiving.
• Under the supervision of the pharmacist-in-charge, verifies all pharmacy shipments are posted for products physically received at the store.
• Completes On-Shelf Availability end-to-end process for planogrammed departments including disposals, call-ins, and vendor returns.
• Under the supervision of the pharmacist-in-charge, completes pharmacy inventory activities including recalls and vendor returns, and reports shortages or damaged product.
• Completes pricing activities including price changes, markdowns, and signage accuracy.
• Supports front end and pharmacy ordering by ordering expense items and maintaining inventory levels.
• Ensures all designated pull & quarantine items on-hands are updated and stored properly.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and on-hand quantities across departments and stockroom.
• Maintains inventory accuracy in pharmacy and completes smart counts under supervision.
• Ensures store compliance with regulations for regulated products.
• Assists and coaches store team on delivery processes and Pickup Program execution.
• When leader on duty, records sales on POS and handles returns, refunds, and cash drops.
