Job summary

The Vomela Companies is seeking an Inventory Clerk to manage inbound inventories, transfer orders, job orders and shipping records with accuracy and timeliness. You will perform cycle counts, generate inventory reports, and support process improvements while working closely with Finance and Production teams to ensure products are received and shipped correctly.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, inventory or shipping experience, and familiarity with UPS WorldShip or FedEx

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in inventory control, shipping or manufacturing preferred.
• Prior experience with UPS WorldShip and FedEx preferred.
• Computer skills including ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed per company procedures.
• Ensure product is shipped to correct location using freight software.
• Provide invoicing information to the Invoicing Clerk.
• Support quality improvement processes to ensure defect-free deliverables.

Job Summary

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for reviewing, monitoring, and executing the timely confirmation and accuracy of inbound inventories, transfer orders, job orders, shipping records and book adjustment transactions to ensure accurate inventory management records.

What You’ll Do…

• Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately according to company processes and procedures.
• Ensure product is shipped to the correct location, per the shipping instructions provided using the various freight company software
• Provide the Invoicing Clerk with the correct information to invoice the customer
• Support ongoing quality improvement processes to ensure all deliverables are produced defect free and aligned with technical specifications
• Follow standard operational procedures and work practices and policies to ensure consistency of output

• Perform Live Cycle counts as directed by Finance, Director of Manufacturing and Production manager. CSR Manager must be notified 48 hours prior to a live Cycle count being performed and the duration for the cycle count.

• Generate and monitor inventory reports and unissued materials reports.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements
