Job summary

The Vomela Companies in High Point, NC is seeking an Inventory Clerk to review, monitor, and ensure the accuracy of inbound inventories, transfer orders, job orders, and shipping records. The role supports accurate inventory management and timely documentation.

Responsibilities include receiving goods, ensuring correct shipping, providing data for invoicing, and supporting continuous quality improvements to meet specifications. Strong ERP and MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in inventory control, shipping or manufacturing.
• Experience with UPS, UPS WorldShip, and Fed Ex preferred.
• Computer skills including ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed according to company processes and procedures.
• Ensure product is shipped to the correct location, per the shipping instructions provided using the various freight company software
• Provide the Invoicing Clerk with the correct information to invoice the customer.
• Support ongoing quality improvement processes to ensure all deliverables are produced defect free and aligned with technical specifications.
• Follow standard operational procedures and work practices and policies to ensure consistency of output.
• Perform Live Cycle counts as directed by Finance, Director of Manufacturing and Production manager. CSR Manager must be notified 48 hours prior to a live Cycle count being performed and the duration for the cycle count.
• Generate and monitor inventory reports and unissued materials reports.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Summary

What You'll Do...
