Job summary

Cardinal Staffing Services is seeking an in-store auditor to perform daily inventory counts at gas stations and convenience stores around Toledo, OH. You will travel with a team to multiple sites, reconciling variances and submitting audit reports.

The role is full-time with a 36–42 hour workweek, paid weekly at $18.00 per hour, and includes a benefits package after the temporary period.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License, active auto insurance, and reliable personal transportation (driving & carpooling rotation required).
• Ability to pass background and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, squat, use short step-ladders, lift up to 25 lbs, and work in cold environments (coolers/freezers).
• Early risers who thrive in hands-on, active roles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inventory counts inside gas stations and convenience stores using a 10-key counting device.
• Work across sales floors, stockrooms, walk-in coolers, and freezers.
• Identify inventory variances, reconcile discrepancies, and submit accurate daily audit reports to store managers.
• Carpool daily with your team to dynamic job sites across the region.

Pay: $18.00 / hour (Paid Weekly) | Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday | Weekends Off

Travel: Daily travel up to a 3-hour radius from Toledo, OH (Paid travel time included in 36-42 hr work week)

What You'll Do

Schedule & Travel Details

• Kickoff Time: Official store audit kickoff is typically 7:00 AM (departures can be as early as 3:00 AM - 4:00 AM depending on distance to the first store location).
• Weekly Hours: Total work time (in-store auditing + paid travel) averages 36-42 hours per week.
• Daily Travel: Travel to 1-3 store locations daily within a 3-hour radius of Toledo, OH.
