Job summary

HYDAC International is seeking an Inventory Auditor to maintain accuracy in our warehouse operations. The role focuses on cycle counts, audits, and ensuring correct product identification and locations within SAP Warehouse Management.

You will analyze discrepancies, generate weekly and quarterly reports, and collaborate on process improvements to prevent reoccurrence, while meeting safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 5-7 years' experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Experience and training in general safety and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control inventory integrity. Cycle count materials daily; complete physical inventories and audits.
• Maintain product identification and location. Ensure materials are in proper locations; locate misclassified inventory.
• Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and damaged products; publish weekly and quarterly inventory status reports.
• Communicate and develop process enhancements; perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommend improvements.
• Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.

The Inventory Auditor is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity while working in SAP Warehouse Management.

You will make an impact in this role by:

• Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity. Cycle count materials on a daily basis. Responsible for completing physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations.
• Maintain product identification and location. Ensure materials are in proper locations. Conduct searches in order to locate misclassified inventory.
• Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervision. Publish a weekly and quarterly inventory status report using the metrics identified by Production Manager.
• Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed. Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvement to eliminate them.
• Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.

Requirements

Key skills and attributes include:

• Must be organized and able prioritize based on defined variables.
• Must pay attention to details and have good follow through skills.
• Must have strong people skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite. In particular Excel and Word.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs as a part of the job function. Must maintain a current certification for forklift operator.
• Must be able to travel between local plant locations.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

To be considered for the Inventory Auditor role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:

• GED or High School diploma required.
• 5-7 years' experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment required.
• Experience and training in general safety and quality systems.
