Job summary

Protective Industrial Products, Inc. (PIP) is seeking an Inventory Associate I to count, scan, and verify inventory accuracy on a daily basis. You will use RF scan guns to record cycles, receive stock into the system, and ensure location accuracy across the warehouse.

You will also audit racks, resolve discrepancies, and assist with transfer orders while supporting weekend shifts and cross-training other team members. A strong safety mindset is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 yrs. experience with Reach Truck, Order Picker, etc.
• Basic (12th grade) math, language, and reading skills.
• Ability to handle equipment and vehicles safely and sensibly.

Responsibilities

• Count product and compare to in-house inventory using RF scan gun.
• Enter counts for cycled product into the WMS system with RF scanner.
• Receive, sort and stock incoming product and ensure accuracy of received items.
• Audit parts racks and report low quantity or discrepancies daily.
• Assist with transfer order clean up and SharePoint discrepancies.
• Serve as back-up for other department members and cross-train on related duties.
• Follow 5S and safety practices; adapt to changes and weekend shifts as needed.
