Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in warehouse operations is a plus.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations (plumbing, lighting, or appliance supply industry preferred).
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting, labeling, and sorting.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld barcode scanners.
• A valid driver's license and forklift certification may be required depending on job duties.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verify against purchase orders and packing slips; unload deliveries.
• Stock and receive products in the warehouse per procedures; maximize space efficiency.
• Pick, pack, and ship items; verify quantities and SKUs; ensure secure packaging.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and perform routine maintenance checks.
• Inspect shipments for damage, defects, or discrepancies; report issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization; keep aisles clear and dispose of waste properly.
• Follow safety protocols; wear PPE and handle hazardous materials as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
