Job summary

Smokingpipes is seeking a Receiving Associate to be the first line of defense between what arrives and what is in stock for customers. You will count, verify, and enter inventory with zero margin for error, ensuring accuracy from receipt to entry.

UNLOAD, sort, and verify shipments; reconcile quantities; stock shelves with precision; and support the Shipping Department. Regularly lift up to 50 lbs and stay organized in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Experience in receiving, warehouse, or logistics preferred.
• Ability to count accurately and reconcile discrepancies.
• Reliable, on-time attendance with willingness to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Unload, sort, unpack, and verify incoming inventory against packing lists and invoices.
• Identify delivery errors or variances and reconcile quantities.
• Receive reconciled items into internal inventory software.
• Stock warehouse shelves and label/bin locate new inventory.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized; support Shipping.
