Job summary

PAC/LifePort is seeking an Inventory Clerk to manage inventory across receiving, picking, stocking, and shipping in a manufacturing setting. You will perform cycle counts, maintain material levels, and support ERP transactions to ensure accurate stock records.

The role requires forklift experience and strong organizational skills, with emphasis on teamwork and effective communication. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with safety policies in place.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of forklift experience preferred.
• Experience in a Production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory control and monitor accuracy.
• Organize and maintain materials on hand.
• Assist with loading/unloading materials using forklift or pallet jack.
• Process work orders and complete ERP transactions.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and audit discrepancies.
• Manage bin stock control and replenishment.
• Handle material logistics between campus locations.
• Monitor and order shipping materials.
• Assemble wooden or cardboard containers as needed.
• Maintain general housekeeping.

Position Overview:

Performs a variety of tasks relating to all inventory items received, picked, stocked, and shipped in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Functions:

• Basic inventory control functions
• Monitor inventory levels for accuracy
• Organize and maintain materials on hand
• Assist with loading / unloading materials from trucks with use of forklift and / or pallet jack.
• Chemical management to include stocking, and checking expiration dates
• Work order processing to include order picking delivering kits and completing ERP transactions
• Complete Daily Cycle Count tasks; create count sheets and audit discrepancies
• Bin Stock Control and Replenishment
• Material logistics between multiple locations on campus
• Monitor / order shipping materials
• Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers
• General housekeeping

• Excellent communication, both written and verbal
• Work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation
• Must be proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Proficient with ERP/MRP Systems

Education, Certifications and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of forklift experience preferred
• Experience in a Production environment preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Working conditions are normal for that of a manufacturing/machine shop/office environment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30-50 lbs.
• All employees are expected to adhere to Company safety policies and wear personal protective equipment when exposed to work areas or performing tasks where it is required.
