Job summary

Maag Gala, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Associate at our Eagle Rock, VA facility. You will inspect incoming items, label and pack orders, and ensure timely, accurate shipments to customers. The role requires operating a forklift, basic computer skills, and collaboration with inventory staff to consolidate orders.

This position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer service, with opportunities to advance through learning new skills and taking on more responsibilities within the warehouse.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education (additional technical skills a plus).
• Basic computer skills.
• Possess valid forklift license or willingness and ability to obtain license.
• Detail Oriented.
• 2+ years of Warehouse experience.
• Willingness to learn new skills to advance in the company.

Responsibilities

• Identify and tag items to pack on Customer orders.
• Pack items securely for shipment on UPS, Fed-Ex, DHL and truck shipments.
• Use current business system to reprint packing slips and identification tags for spare parts orders.
• Receive and inspect commercial items ordered from suppliers.
• Operate a forklift to load/unload trucks and to remove/replace items on inventory shelves.
• Work with other inventory personnel to consolidate multiple orders on Coordinated shipments.
• Pull issue and deliver items for job orders for spare part orders, projects, and inventory.
• Other tasks as assigned by manager.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job in a factory setting, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud and PPE may be required.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be in a warehouse situation and subject to changing environmental conditions. Including, but not limited to: temperature variations, humidity, rain, snow, wind and direct sunlight.
