MAAG Gala Inc. in Eagle Rock, VA is seeking an Inventory Associate to handle shipper/receiver duties, inspect incoming items, and ensure orders are packed and shipped accurately and on time.

The role requires forklift operation, basic computer skills, and 2+ years of warehouse experience. Expect a full-time schedule with opportunities to contribute to safety and efficiency across the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Use current business system to reprint packing slips and identification tags for spare parts orders.

• Operate a forklift to load/unload trucks and to remove/replace items on inventory shelves.
• Work with other inventory personnel to consolidate multiple orders on Coordinated shipments.
• Pull issue and deliver items for job orders for spare part orders, projects, and inventory.

Main position objectives

The shipper/receiver position provides the initial inspection on incoming commercial items from suppliers and final quality check on the orders to the customer. They help to promote the high standard of customer service that Maag Gala Inc. has built. Insuring that all orders are received accurately and shipped on time to our customers.

Position description - Tasks, responsibilities, competencies

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job in a factory setting, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud and PPE may be required.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be in a warehouse situation and subject to changing environmental conditions. Including, but not limited to: temperature variations, humidity, rain, snow, wind and direct sunlight.
