Job summary

Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, OH is seeking a Full Time Transport/Inventory Associate to support operations across departments. You will pick up and deliver items, unload shipments, verify accuracy, and restock shelves while maintaining accurate logs.

You will handle inventories, perform cycle counts, adhere to safety and transportation regulations, and help move equipment and files to the warehouse.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Customer service and/or inventory control experience.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver items to appropriate locations.
• Unload and verify incoming shipments and restock shelves.
• Maintain daily activity logs.
• Par level and fill requisitions for departments throughout the organization.
• Maintain inventories by utilizing the materials management tools provided.
• Conducts physical/cycle count as scheduled.
• Maintain a neat, clean, safe work environment by using good storage techniques, rotating inventory and proper disposal of hazardous waste.
• Practice safe driving skills while complying with all transportation regulations.
• Support moves, transport equipment and files to the warehouse for storage and ongoing management.
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle, reporting any vehicle problems.
• Properly handle and store products to protect integrity.
• Uses proper lifting and loading techniques using the tools provided to support the task.

Exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10-20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand required requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
