Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Materials Planning professional to manage MRP processes, ensure data consistency and drive inventory strategies across the network. You will work closely with senior procurement leaders to cut waste and reduce costs.

Responsibilities include developing metrics such as service levels, supporting SAP/BI P2P developments, and mentoring the team to improve delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
• 5+ years of SAP experience
• Proven leadership and organizational ability
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee Materials Resource Planning (MRP) processes and data consistency.
• Develop and track departmental metrics such as service level.
• Drive purchasing and inventory management processes to reduce costs.
• Lead SAP and BI development for Purchase to Pay.
• Evaluate supplier performance and drive collaboration.
• Develop ad hoc inventory reporting tools.
• Mentor and develop team members.
• Partner with Director and VP to drive continuous improvement.
