DePuy Synthes, part of Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices, supports a broad orthopedics portfolio and value-driven care. The position focuses on managing order fulfillment, backorder resolution, and warehouse inventory, with exposure to SAP and GMP/GxP practices. Salary is $28 per hour and the role requires flexibility across shifts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School or equivalent degree.
  • Bachelor's Degree is a plus, but not required.
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Inventory / Warehouse management software experience.
  • Experience in distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain.
  • MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of GMP or GxP.
  • Flexibility to work staggered shifts including weekends.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage order fulfillment of exception-based orders from field sales, coordinating with Courier Service and internal clients.
  • Proactively address backorders with central Distribution Center and field sales to determine fulfillment at Field Sales Locations.
  • Manage warehouse inventory with central DC coordination.
  • Perform inbound product verification and put-away, including scanning inventory and SAP transfers.
  • Train staff and follow SOPs and work instructions.
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
  • Assist in regular inventory inspections and safety/quality audits.
  • Adhere to training requirements and health and safety regulations.
  • Wear protective equipment as required.
  • Lead projects as needed and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Maintain GDP/good documentation practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage order fulfillment of exception-based orders coming from the field sales teams including close connection with Courier Service, receiving parties and internal clients
  • Proactively solve backorders from our central Distribution Center in partnership with the field sales team to determine which ones need to be fulfilled by the Field Sales Location
  • Manage warehouse inventory via close coordination with our central DC
  • Perform in bound product verification and put away process for inventory products including, but not limited to the following: scanning inventory, completing inventory transfers in SAP, etc.
  • Train and follow standard operation and quality procedures and work instructions
  • Performing cycle count and inventory reconciliation activities
  • Assists in regular inventory inspections and performs safety and quality audits
  • Adherence to training requirements, and health and safety regulations
  • Wear protective clothing and equipment as required
  • Implement schedule / policies / and group guidelines
  • Lead projects as required
  • Flexible to other tasks as priorities shift
  • Responsible for GDP (Good documentation practices)
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Minimum High School and/or equivalent degree
  • Bachelor's Degree (a plus, but not required)
Experience and Skills:
Required:
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Inventory / Warehouse Management Software experience
  • Experience preferred within any of the following areas: distribution, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, customer service
  • Demonstrated initiative, creativity, assertiveness, and proactive communication
  • MS Office Suite proficiency preferred, including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
  • Strong computer skills and ability to utilize specialized software and customized programs to meet business needs
  • Flexibility to work a staggered work schedule covering Monday thru Sunday shifts
  • Willingness to accommodate changes in the schedule including working in other shifts as per operational needs is required (late or early start)
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Good Practices (GxP)
