Job summary

BD in USA NC - Durham is seeking an Associate Inventory Analyst to optimize inventory levels and ensure efficient material flow to meet customer demand and business goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of inventory analysis or related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and cross-department collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing inventory data, forecasts, lead times to identify trends.
  • Generate and maintain inventory reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
  • Support development and implementation of inventory control procedures.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales for accurate planning.
  • Reconcile inventory and investigate discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities for inventory reduction and cost savings.
  • Maintain inventory records in ERP system.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend actions.
  • Assist in special projects related to supply chain optimization.
