Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Inventory Analytics Engineer to lead inventory analytics initiatives and drive accuracy across our inventory systems. You will design and deploy BI inventory reporting packages, ensuring analytics support KPI attainment and informed decision-making.

Qualifications

4 years of inventory control experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience with computerized scanner equipment.
Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
TDWI certification and R/Python certifications preferred.
3+ years of delivering BI and data analytics solutions with statistical modeling preferred.
Understanding of data warehouse concepts and data structures preferred.
Experience handling structured and unstructured data to generate insights preferred.
Understanding of SQL, query design, data validation/automation and analytic functions preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop solutions leveraging inventory analytics capabilities to drive accuracy of inventory systems.
Drive the design and deployment of BI inventory analysis and reporting packages.
Ensure reporting capabilities enhance KPI attainment and decision-making.
Provide leadership and training to a team of Inventory Analysts.
Foster collaboration across operational, planning, BI and data analytics teams.
Engage stakeholders to align priorities and develop implementation plans.
Define standards and promote adoption of new tools and approaches.
Mentor analytical resources and communicate success stories across the company.
