Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Inventory Control Manager to lead a skilled team in optimizing inventory accuracy and ECO handling across our operations in the United States. You will forecast, manage ECO dates, and drive proactive adjustments to minimize disruptions, while presenting insights to executive leadership.

The role requires a strong background in ERP systems and advanced PowerBI skills, with a hands-on leadership style and a track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years in inventory management or supply-chain roles; 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced PowerBI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data interpretation.
• Experience presenting to executive leadership; clear communication for a senior audience.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Inventory Control Analysts.
• Forecast accurately and manage ECO effectivity dates proactively.
• Drive inventory adjustments to support ECOs and minimize disruptions.
• Oversee claims processes for cancelled or stranded materials.
• Partner with supply chain teams to evaluate claims situations.
• Engage with customers to file claims and negotiate adjustments.
• Develop strategies to manage E&O inventory.
• Identify cost-effective solutions to minimize waste and recover value from non-moving stock.
• Coordinate disposal or repurposing of obsolete materials.
• Regularly present on inventory performance, trends, and risks to executives.
• Use PowerBI to provide data-driven insights and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Assess and enhance inventory management and claims handling processes.
• Implement best practices to increase accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and production teams to align inventory control with business goals.
