Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an Analytics Analyst to design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports within enterprise BI platforms. You will translate business requirements into self-service BI solutions and ensure data freshness while collaborating with commercial users to align analytic needs.

The role emphasizes translating requirements into actionable analytics, maintaining semantic layer assets, and communicating complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to analytics or data science.
• 1 year of analytics/BI or data-focused experience.
• Experience with at least one enterprise BI platform (Power BI/Tableau/Looker/Qlik).
• Strong SQL skills for data querying, validation and analysis.
• Familiarity with semantic layer concepts (measures, dimensions, hierarchies, calculated metrics).
• Experience translating business requirements into reporting and dashboards.
• Understanding of commercial data domains such as sales, revenue, forecasting, or customer data.
• Strong communication skills to explain data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and semantic layer assets.
• Translate business requirements into self-service BI solutions.
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards and standardized reports.
• Gather and clarify requirements from business users to ensure analytic needs are met.
• Monitor data freshness of dashboards/reports and flag anomalies to pipeline owners.
