Job summary

Communications & Power Industries in Texas is seeking an experienced Inventory Analyst to support accurate inventory management across our manufacturing operations. You will analyze inventory data, resolve discrepancies, and work with Materials, Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, and accounting teams to ensure materials are available when needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in inventory control, inventory analysis, materials management, or related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP/MRP system.
• Analyze inventory levels, usage, transactions, and trends to identify discrepancies.
• Perform and coordinate cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Research variances and determine root causes of discrepancies.
• Reconcile physical inventory to system records and process adjustments.
• Identify slow-moving, excess, obsolete, or potentially short inventory.
• Develop and maintain inventory reports, metrics, and dashboards.
