Job summary

CDW is seeking an Inventory Analyst to leverage reporting tools, warehouse systems, and operational data to identify trends, research variances, and recommend solutions that improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.

In this role, you will analyze data, generate reports, and partner with Shipping, Receiving, and other teams to resolve discrepancies, support audits, and conduct cycle counts in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and data accuracy skills.
• Experience with inventory records, reporting, cycle counting, auditing, or reconciliation.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis, sorting, filtering, and reporting.
• Experience with AS400, Microsoft Access, or similar inventory management systems.
• Experience in inventory control, supply chain, logistics, or high‑volume warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory data, reports, system transactions, movements, and adjustments to identify discrepancies, trends, root causes, and operational issues while maintaining accurate records.
• Generate and distribute inventory reports, track control metrics, and recommend improvements to inventory accuracy, decision‑making, and operational efficiency.
• Use warehouse management systems, AS400, Microsoft Access, and Excel to monitor performance and investigate inventory issues.
• Partner with Shipping, Receiving, Configuration, and other operational teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
• Support audits, cycle counts, bin research, and reconciliation activities, documenting findings and communicating recommendations and updates to stakeholders.
• Move throughout the warehouse, including standing, walking, and climbing, to validate inventory and perform physical bin checks.
• Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
