Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Inventory Analyst I in Salt Lake City to monitor inventory levels, traceability, and discrepancies, driving root-cause analysis and corrective actions. You will review material transactions, support resolution of issues, and collaborate with multiple departments to minimize downtime and improve accuracy.

The role requires 1–3 years in a materials or receiving environment, with strong PC skills and experience using Windows-based software and Jabil systems.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in materials or receiving.
• Ability to identify root causes of inventory discrepancies.
• Strong PC skills and familiarity with Windows-based software.
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers and teams.
• Experience with inventory control processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all material transactions for assigned areas.
• Identify, resolve, and find root causes of discrepancies and other inventory errors.
• Recommend changes to reduce future discrepancies.
• Work overtime as needed and assist in material handling.
• Eliminate manufacturing downtime in the assigned area where applicable.
• Perform regular component cycle counts as required.
• Perform inventory transactions and report on customer systems as required.
• Assist in development and implementation of materials management systems.
