Job description

Bioventus—an industry leader in active‑healing solutions—seeks an Inventory Analyst to ensure accurate inventory records, support SOX compliance, and enable data‑based decision making across our Memphis warehouse and 3PL partners.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute inventory snapshot reports, period‑end reporting, and inventory control metrics to support inventory accuracy and SOX compliance.
  • Analyze inventory variances, transaction activities, and inventory performance trends; help support root‑cause investigations on trends.
  • Generate and maintain inventory reports to help support KPI metrics utilizing SAP, Microsoft Excel, and other reporting tools.
  • Support and analyze cycle‑count programs using ABC inventory classification methodologies, review count results, identify trends, and help support root cause for variances.
  • Support period‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end inventory reporting activities, including variance analysis and inventory‑related financial reporting requirements.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Quality, Finance, and IT teams to optimize inventory accuracy and performance.
  • Contribute to ongoing system improvements and technology upgrades aimed at enhancing inventory control and operational efficiency.
  • Support inventory readiness for internal and external audits.
  • Hold oneself and others accountable to conduct business in a manner compliant with Bioventus’ Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies and procedures, and internal controls applicable to the role.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of hands‑on inventory management experience required.
  • Strong experience managing inventory in SAP is required.
  • Experience driving process improvements in dynamic environments is highly preferred.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in medical device manufacturing or another regulated industry is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
