Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Allocations professional to manage inventory, optimize store-level assortment, and coordinate replenishment strategies for multiple locations.

Responsibilities include analyzing in-stock data, coordinating with Buyers and Inventory Planners, and ensuring optimal allocation across regions and seasons. Strong Excel and experience with allocation systems are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5 years of experience, including 2+ years in merchandise allocations and/or planning.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas).
• Experience with JDA Allocations and/or E3 is required.
• Strong mathematical skills and ability to analyze data.
• Training experience is required.
• Strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Allocate bulk purchase orders using the Allocations system and place replenishment POs.
• Maintain inventory levels by store location to support sales, margin and turns.
