Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Invasive CV Technologist for St James Hospital in Montana. You will assist physicians in cardiac and vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures, manage cath lab data, and support patient care through accurate data collection and equipment maintenance.

The role requires an Associate degree, BLS, and ACLS within 12 months, with a 40-hour work week and typical 10-hour shifts in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school, or related experience.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• ACLS certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret journals, procedures, or regulations.
• Ability to calculate figures such as proportions, percentages, and volume.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with catheter insertions and injections during diagnostic angiography and heart catheterization.
• Maintain and inspect equipment, supplies, and chart labeling; ensure safety protocols.
• Schedule procedures and review pertinent patient history and data.
• Record data accurately and understand hemodynamic measurements (e.g., ejection fraction).
• Operate and monitor cath lab systems and networks (PACS, WITT).
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and safety guidelines.
