Intermountain Healthcare Inc. in Montana is seeking an Invasive CV Technologist to assist physicians in performing cardiovascular procedures and to collect accurate hemodynamic data for interpretation.

The role includes equipment care, patient records, catheter insertions under sterile technique, and ensuring safety while collaborating with the clinical team; a full-time daytime schedule with 10-hour shifts is common.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; six months to one year related experience or training.
• BLS required on hire; ACLS within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to read and interpret journals, procedures, and regulations.
• Ability to calculate figures and apply algebra/geometry concepts.
• Ability to solve problems and follow varied instructions.

Responsabilités

• Assist physicians with catheter insertions and interventions using sterile technique.
• Maintain patient files, document procedures, and label charts for iodine allergies.
• Inspect equipment, manage supplies, and follow radiation safety guidelines.
• Record data, calculate ejection fractions and cardiac outputs, and monitor hemodynamics.
• Communicate patient status to physicians and health team members.
