Job summary

Banner North Colorado Medical Center - Loveland Campus seeks an Intraoperative Surgical Technologist to join the surgical team in Loveland, CO. You will prepare the operating room, arrange instruments, and maintain a sterile environment to support safe procedures.

Working full-time at 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, you may float to Banner Fort Collins Medical Center as needed. A high school diploma/GED and BLS are required; state registration where applicable. Prior OR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and current BLS certification.
• Must be registered with State Regulatory Agency where applicable.
• Manual dexterity and ability to work in stressful situations.
• Stay abreast of new developments in the field.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for surgical procedures by pulling appropriate instruments and supplies and ensuring good working order.
• Anticipates the surgeon's needs and passes instruments.
• Maintains aseptic technique and universal precautions throughout procedures.
• Disposes of sharps and trash and prepares items for cleaning after each case.
• Ensures accuracy of surgeon preference cards and pick lists.
• Assists with OR turnover and replenishing supplies.
