Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
• Certified in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM).
• Knowledge of IONM and/or anatomy & physiology and/or technical troubleshooting preferred.
• Operating Room (OR) experience preferred.
• Strong time management & organizational skills; able to manage competing demands in the OR.
• Effective communication in English with surgeons and surgical staff; team collaboration.
• Ability to travel up to 25% for field-based role.
• Qualified for and maintain hospital privileges and vaccination requirements where applicable.
• Maintain CNIM status.

Responsibilities

• Obtains detailed medical history and consults with surgeon on structures at risk.
• Communicates monitoring information to surgeon and team during cases.
• Displays and labels waveforms and calculates latencies, amplitudes, and conduction times per guidelines.
• Identifies protocols and troubleshoots to ensure accurate data collection.
• Completes IOM logs and timely uploads; maintains equipment and performs checks.
• Performs other duties as assigned and adheres to company policies.
