Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience or advanced degree with no experience.
• Certified in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM).
• Knowledge of IONM and human anatomy/physiology; OR experience preferred.
• Strong time management, organization, and English communication with surgical staff.
• Be eligible for hospital privileges and maintain CNIM status.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history and consults with the surgeon on structures at risk.
• Communicates monitoring data to surgeon and team during cases.
• Displays/labels waveforms and measures latencies, amplitudes, conduction times.
• Identifies protocols and troubleshoots to ensure accurate data collection.
• Prepares IOM logs/files and maintains equipment, docs, and compliance.
