Job summary

Auburn University at Montgomery is seeking an Intramural and Club Sports Coordinator to promote and manage intramural and club sports programs. You will supervise events, coordinate Wellness Center use, inspect equipment, and work with student groups.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree with two years of experience; Master’s degree preferred. Nights and weekends work are expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience in intramurals or related field; Master's preferred.
• Knowledge of club sports best practices and student development theories.
• Ability to supervise programs, manage risk, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to plan events, budget, and coordinate campus committees.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote, organize, advertise, and recruit students for intramural and club programs.
• Provide supervision of intramural events for students, staff, and faculty.
• Coordinate Wellness Center usage for intramural programs.
• Inspect and maintain fitness and intramural equipment.
• Work with student organizations and assist Enrollment Management events.
• Hours include nights and weekends; other duties as assigned.
