Our team based model allows students to get to know their fellow students and teachers well. Connecting with the history of Dracut, our school is built on land that was once an airfield, and our school theme is built around this historical fact. This year, our teams are named after airports from around the world. Each hallway is named by a terminal letter much like an airport!Students complete year-long courses in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and have regular Physical Education in addition to sampling exploratory classes in Art, Music, Health, Computers, and Family and Consumer Science. Many students also participate in our band, strings, and chorus offerings to complete their school day. Additionally, we offer a wide variety of extra-curricular activities that include sports, academic clubs, interest/hobby activities, drama productions, and academic support sessions.The middle school years are a time of rapid development and growth for adolescents.
