Indianapolis Public Schools is seeking a High School Title Interventionist to support at-risk students in Reading and Math. You will assess and implement research-based interventions, align with the MTSS District Wide Framework, and assist teachers to scaffold learners toward proficiency in core concepts.
This is a full-time, 10-month position reporting to the Principal. Required: Bachelor's degree and a valid Indiana Teaching License (ELA/MATH).

The High School Title Interventionist performs a variety of supports to students identified as at-risk in Reading and/or Math. The High School Title Interventionists primarily assist teachers with assessing and implementing research-based interventions to scaffold learners in the skills or concepts in which they are deficient. The High School Title Interventionist implements and supports the MTSS District Wide Framework. This is a full-time, 10 month position and will report directly to the Principal.

Specific qualifications include:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must hold a valid Indiana State Teacher's License in Elementary Education (K‑6), Secondary Education or High School Education.
